You don’t need to wait for the postman to bring your paper mail. You can get your current and even your old W-2s (previous years) right from your phone! This guide will show you exactly how to do it in simple steps.

If you want to file your taxes, you need your W-2 form. This document shows how much you earned and how much tax you paid last year.

At Compass Group, the easiest way to get this is through the Compass Associate Portal (CAP).

• Your 8-digit Personnel Number: (Check your old pay stub if you don’t know it).

• Internet Access: Use a safe mobile or computer.

🚀 Step-by-Step: Retrieving Your Current & Past W-2s

Step 1: Visit the Official CAP Login

First, go to the official website where all Compass employees log in:

Step 2: Login to Your Account

• Enter your Username (Your 8-digit Employee ID).

• Enter your Password.

• Click Login.

  • Tip: If you are logging in for the first time, your password is often your birth month + last 4 digits of your SSN. If that doesn’t work, click “Forgot Password.”

Step 3: Go to the “W-2” Tab

Once you are on your dashboard:

1. Look for the menu and click on the “W-2” or “Tax Forms” tab.

2. You will see a list of years (like 2025, 2024, 2023).

Step 4: Download and Save

1. Click on the year you need (for example, click “2025 W-2” for this year’s taxes).

2. The form will open as a PDF.

3. Click the Download icon or Print it.

   • Practical Tip: Save it to your “Google Drive” or “Documents” folder so you don’t lose it.

💼 What if You are a Former Employee?

Even if you left Compass Group, you can usually still log in to CAP to get your W-2 for a few years. If you cannot log in, don’t worry! You can ask for a reprint.
