Why Eurest Uses CAP

Eurest operates as a Compass Group USA sector. Like Chartwells, Morrison, Levy, and the other Compass brands, Eurest employees are legally employed by Compass Group USA, Inc. — not by the client corporation whose building you work in. Your W-2 comes from Compass, your paystub shows Compass as payer, and your CAP account lives in Compass’s shared employee system. This matters specifically for Eurest staff because you often work inside client corporate buildings and may mistakenly believe you work for the client company (Google, Microsoft, a bank, etc.). You do not — you work for Compass/Eurest serving that client. All tax and payroll questions go to Compass, not to the client.

Eurest-Specific Scenarios

Working inside restricted client buildings

Many Eurest sites are inside secure corporate buildings where personal Wi-Fi may be restricted and personal devices limited during work hours. Accessing CAP from your work location may not be practical. Log in from home using your personal phone or laptop, or use the guest network if your client provides one. Never access CAP from a shared or client-owned computer.

Client account transitions

If your client corporation switches from Eurest to a different food service vendor (or Eurest wins a new client contract), your employment status depends on the transition. Sometimes you transfer to the new vendor; sometimes you stay with Eurest and relocate to a different client site; sometimes you are offered separation.
